What to do during Lockdown? Keep learning & do something great!

I had LinkedIn Live with James Fok yesterday again.

We raised some good tips for your LinkedIn profile, so recap here:

- Never say "Actively Looking for Jobs" as your LinkedIn headline

- Never chase people & send Message together with your CV

It may not have a high chance People will review your CV

It may not have a high chance People will refer you to the opportunity

- Never post your personal CV in your profile or as a post, lots of personal info out there!

- If you want your post to reach more people:

Never Tag a million of people & Never Use a million of Hashtag too!

- You should send a personalized invitation to connect with relevant people.

Find out the commonality, then build a long term relationship!

Provide value or offer help, rather than request people to do something.

- You can also work with the Hiring Manager, CEO & HR/Recruiters

This is an alternative way for you to find jobs - the hidden market.

I know you may think: it can be easy to say, there are no jobs right now.

But Periods of a slowdown are the time to train, not the time to complain!
