Do a quick survey! I want to know who is providing FREE Career Advice & promoting at LinkedIn?
I have experienced with a fortune teller or even a Chinese Medicine practitioner provide a free consultation.
Although they don't know my whole history, they will try to 'sell' their professional advice.
Do you trust them? Will you go to see a doctor for a free consultation?
Can you go to ask a lawyer for free advice or litigation?
I have received a lot of inbox messages & people send me their CV, ask me to provide advice.
Not only ask whether their CV is good or bad, ask me to review, but also request me to correct them.
Why you have to ask me? You don't trust the free content & search result from Google?
Do you think this is regarded as Advice? That will use my knowledge, expertise, time & effort??
Do you think this is regarded as a professional opinion? Because this helps & valuable to you?
Yes, of course! If you have a better CV, you can find a better job & earn money!
But if you are sick, can you see a doctor for Free Medicine??
I think as a professional, we believe in mutual respect.
Don't send CV to me, I don't want to keep your personal info & I do charge for advice.
If you need advice from someone but you don't act as professional, it's hard for people to help!!
